A Glimpse Inside the Media’s Thought Process
This video clip and the whole story says more about the Legacy Media than it does American military personnel.
Why would anyone risk their life for America?
I don’t know, a sense of duty, patriotism, a desire to be part of something larger then yourself, a recognition that there are those without decency–namely AQI, former Batthists–who must be dealt with.
But, we don’t get any of that in the story. In fact, we don’t get the answer as to why they would risk their lives for America.
Perhaps the obvious answers didn’t fit the storyline preferred by the Legacy Media.

Your video clip doesn’t really illustrate your point. It only contains the brief passage in which the voiceover asks “Why would anyone risk their life for America?” For all I know, the voiceover immediately goes on to catalog the reasons. Or maybe it goes on to recite all the usual liberal excuses to be ashamed of America and to denigrate service. But from your clip there’s no way to know. I see from the lower-right corner of the video that it was produced by NBC, but you don’t indicate when or on what show.
