Cut And Run—Almost A Year Later

Friday, November 3rd, 2006

It was about a year ago that John Murtha offered his now infamous cut and run proposal on Iraq.

We now know from the NIE, that cutting and running would further embolden the jihadists to wage war against the West.

The party of cut and run may win the House of Representatives and the Senate.

And if they cut, that will only encourage the jihadists to make another run at large scale attacks on America.

What War? Part 3 of 3

It’s been an interesting war.
Too bad you missed it.

The legacy media has persuaded 54% of the American people that the overthrow of Saddam Hussein was not worth the effort – i.e., that he should have been allowed to ignore the treaties that ended the Operation Desert Storm, and to rearm.

The ascendant Democratic Party will soon attempt to translate its “concept” of “Strategic Redeployment” into plain English, i.e., “cut and run.”

Do you doubt it?  Stop listening to Democrat Senators on “Meet the Press.”  Attend any Democratic Party mass rally and look at the signs.

Who is Responsible For Deaths of Iraqis?

Wednesday, November 1st, 2006

“U.S. compliance with noncombatant immunity in Iraq is relatively high by historical standards…”

Writing the latest edition of Foreign Affairs Colin Kahl examined deaths in Iraq from American Forces, indigenous forces and terrorists and has concluded that U.S. forces show great restraint and take care to follow the laws of war.

Kahl has determined that U.S. forces are responsible for 3,582 civilian deaths since the end of major combat operations.

The terrorists, criminals and various sectarian wanabe warlords are responsible for killing 32,603 civillians.

Kahl points out an inconvinient truth for the left–that the real terrorists are, uh, terrorists.
